Lead Pastors

Pastor David Houtsma began his full time ministry in the fall of 1993 when he graduated from Christian Life International Bible College and traveled to Siberia to plant a church. Within a few short months that church grew from a handful of believers to over 400 in weeklyattendance and distributed millions of dollars of humanitarian aid to the local community. After nearly two years in Russia, David moved to Central Africa where he worked to found Bible Colleges in the Congo and surrounding nations. David returned to the United States as a youth pastor in his father's church in Northern California. In a short time,the youth group grew from 80 to over 200, and over 1000 young people committed their lives to Christ. He later accepted the position of senior associate pastor.

Pastor David founded Northside in 2003 while completing his law degree at Georgia State University. Under his leadership Northside purchased land, completed abuilding project and is growing exponentially.

Pastor Robin graduated from Christian Life International Bible College in 1997 and traveled extensively throughout the world ministering in Africa, South America, India, Siberia, Indonesia and the U.S. Robin became a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God in 2005. PastorDavid & Robin have been married for over ten years and have two daughters, Cadence and Ellia.

Rev. Roger Houtsma PHD, DD and Janice Houtsma

Associate Pastors

Dr. Houtsma is an ordained Assemblies of God minister with over 40 years ministry experience. Dr. Houtsma graduated from the University of California with a double major in Psychology and Child Development. He has a Ph.D. in Psychology from Union University and an honorary Doctorate of Divinity from the American Bible College. He is the founder and President of World Outreach Ministries, a missions organization that maintains Bible Colleges, orphanages, leadership training, and evangelistic outreaches all over the world. Dr. Houtsma is also a licensed Christian Counselor Therapist with the Georgia Association of Christian Counselors.

Janice Houtsma is an experienced Bible College teacher and founder of Healing Wings, a program she and Dr. Houtsma developed together as a ministry to counsel the abused and minister to the hurting. Janice is a licensed Pastoral Counselor with the Georgia Association of Christian Counselors.

Joel and Kim Stocksdale

Children's Pastors

Joel and Kim attended North Central Bible College. Joel graduated with a degree in Pastoral Theology. He became a licensed minister with the Assemblies of God and along with his wife Kim have been serving as children's pastors for over ten years. They served in 2 established churches in Wisconsin as well as partnering with a church plant team. They have pioneered our children's ministries and have the children very excited about the Lord. Joel also works as an Accountant. Kim also serves in our worship ministries and teaches violin and piano. Joel and Kim have 5 children, Abigail, Emily, Ben, Hannah, and Kate.

Alastair and Geanna Wilde

Worship & Creative Arts Pastor, Youth Pastor

Alastair and Geanna attended Central Bible College. Alastair graduated with an associate's degree in Youth Ministries and Geanna graduated with a bachelor's degree in Preaching and Evangelism. Alastair and Geanna have been involved in all areas of church ministry. Alastair has served in worship leading for several years and has a heart for worship ministry as well as a creative side in all types of design aspects. Geanna has served on preaching teams and been active in different leadership roles. She is passionate about taking the youth into new beginnings and deeper levels with God. Leading them in "surpassing the ordinary" for the cause of Christ!  As a team, they desire to see the church grow and mature in God. Alastair and Geanna have two dogs, Baylie and Bama.

Chris Brooks

Worship Leader

Chris has served in ministry for over 14 years in Baptist and Non-Denominational backgrounds. He has been licensed and ordained, and has served as Student Ministries Director, Interim Pastor, and Minister of Music, as well as in various lay-ministry positions. Chris brings a deep passion for drawing close to the heart of God in Worship and through the teaching of God's Word. Chris graduated with a B.A. in Business Management from Georgia College and St. Univ. in Milledgeville, GA, and is currently working towards his Masters in Theological Studies at Liberty University. He is a part of our church with his wife Marianne, who is an R.N. at Northside Hospital Forsyth, and two children, Caleb and Hannah.

Angela Rodriguez

Special Music & Drama Director

Angela graduated from Lee University in Cleveland, TN with a Bachelor’s degree in General Business and a minor in Religion. She has traveled throughout the U.S and abroad to China, Australia, and Jamaica spreading the gospel of Jesus Christ through music and fine arts ministry. Angela’s desire is to see our Lord and Saviour, Jesus Christ, lifted high through true heartfelt worship.
