What should I wear?

You will find a spectrum of style at Northside - guys wearing everything from jeans, khakis and polo shirts, to suits and ties. Ladies wear jeans, dress pants, skirts or dresses. Most importantly, though, we look forward to seeing you, not what you're wearing.

What Denomination is Northside Family Worship Center a member of?

God is a God of relationship, and as such our fellowship has chosen to be a part of the Assemblies of God denomination rather than function as an independent work. Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with some 38 million members and adherents worldwide. Throughout the United States, over 2.5 million believers worship in Assemblies of God churches every Sunday.

Our Position in the Christian Community

Currently the Assemblies of God USA and Assemblies of God organizations around the world make up the world's largest Pentecostal denomination with some 51 million members and adherents. But numbers fail to tell the real story, and statistics can never meet human needs. People who need help in coming to know God, have problems in their home, or are troubled by any of a multitude of other things that keep people from being happy and fulfilled, need someone who cares. And that's the message of our Fellowship. Because Jesus cares for people, the Assemblies of God is people who care about each other.

What is the primary purpose of Northside Family Worship Center?

Simply said, 4 Words describe our desire for Northside - that it would be a church built on: Revelation, Worship, Refreshing, & Missions. We encourage you to take a quick tour around www.visitnorthside.com to see the range of ministries and opportunities we offer. Above all, we can say with great certainty that our heart will always be about winning souls to Jesus Christ.

What does it mean to be born again?

God has given a very clear and understandable plan for accepting Jesus as the Savior of your life, so all your sins can be taken away and you can live in heaven with Him forever. That, in a sentence, is what it means to be born again.

Why do you talk about reaching the world for Jesus Christ?

Our calling and abiding reason for living is a passion for people who have never heard or accepted what the Savior did for the world through the Cross of Calvary. Next to our personal walk with God, winning souls is the most important thing in the world for us. I believe it should be important for every believer who understands that those who don't receive Jesus as Savior will spend an eternity without Him. That's why “souls for Jesus” will be our battle cry until the moment we go to be with our Father!

You preach that Jesus can save anyone; does that include me?

We preach it because it is true. Through the centuries, often the worst, most guilty sinners become the most wonderful, guilt-free believers. The apostle Paul, inspired by the Holy Spirit, wrote much of the New Testament. But at one time he was a hated persecutor of Christians, even overseeing their deaths. After giving his life to Christ, Paul wrote, “This is a faithful saying, and worthy of all acceptation, that Christ Jesus came into the world to save sinners; of whom I am chief” (1 Timothy 1:15). Yes, Jesus can save and change anyone.
