Missions
"Go ye into all the world and preach the gospel, baptizing them in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit…" Mt. 28:19 Missions is the heartbeat of our church. We believe God has blessed us as a nation for the purpose of reaching into those nations that have yet to hear the good news of the gospel. We also recognize the need in our own nation, our own community to make real the love of Jesus to those in need. The missions department of Northside carries three major focuses:
WORLD OUTREACH MINISTRIES:  | | World Outreach ministries is a vital part of Northside's missions efforts. World Outreach has a long history of taking the gospel with signs following to unreached peoples in the nations of the world and to date has prayed with over 8 million to receive Christ in their lives. This ministry has also provided training for over 200,000 Christian leaders around the world through special church leadership conferences and Bible college programs. World Outreach is also involved in bringing compassion by providing humanitarian aid, maintaining education and feeding programs, and establishing orphanages. We join our support, prayers, and giving with World Outreach to see ministry extended into areas where little other mission efforts have reached. Northside also owes a special debt of gratitude to World Outreach for its organizational support. By standing alongside our new work, World Outreach enabled Northside to purchase land and develop our church facilities. |
MISSIONARIES: Ellis Family  | | The Ellis family has given their lives in service to the Lord overseas. Joey and Carla have a son Jerrod and a daughter Caroline that serve with them in this call. Due to the sensitivity of their mission field we are unable to post details of their ministry. More information can be made available in person by contacting Pastor David or Robin Houtsma. Please pray for their safety and effectiveness. |
Ozias Family  | | Jim and Heidi Ozias are missionaries to China along with their 3 children. |
Dale and Andrea Stephens  | | Chi Alpha in Atlanta is reaching out to the thousands of University students in our state's capital. We are eager to meet the needs of both believers and unbelievers alike. It is our goal to inpsire the students of Atlanta to live healthier lives spiritually, academically, and personally. ~Chi Alpha ATL~ Inspiring Students~ |
Dennis Gaylor Info coming soon..... COMMUNITIES:  | | God has placed us in this community to be a light and a blessing. Our community projects include reaching into a local preschool for underprivileged children. Through our missions department, we have purchased new backpacks and supplies for several students to help supplement the costs of education for these families in the community. Northside also gives financial gifts to families in need at Christmas, Thanksgiving and throughout the year. |
