“Our vision is to build a church of revelation, worship, ministry, and missions.”

Revelation:
As preparation for this new work began, God put Jesus' encounter with the Samaritan woman (John 4) in our hearts as a model of ministry to this area. In this interaction, a woman who had heard about the promises of God all of her life came to a point where she saw the living Christ. Things she had always wanted to believe suddenly became real to her. Later we see the power and transforming work this type of revelation brings. As such, we strive not just to produce sermons that are informational or entertaining, but messages that contain the "living word," relevant truths that reveal the person and nature of God. Our vision is to build a church where people can experience life changing encounters and move from having only heard about to seeing the living Christ.

Worship:
In our worship services believers are encouraged to move beyond just singing or listening to the music and to enter into a place of life surrender to God. It is a time of interaction with His Spirit where we can hear Him and see Him afresh.  Children in Kindergarten through 5th grade join us once a month for our worship so that the entire family can enter into His presence together.  God intends our experience of worship to be a lifestyle that honors and brings pleasure to Him. Our vision is to gather and build households that seek to honor Christ with their worship throughout the week.

Ministry:
Ministry is the unique expression of Christ in an individual believer's life. All members of Northside Family Worship Center are encouraged to discover and engage in the special ministry that God has gifted to them. It is also our belief that these individual expressions are foundational to finding fulfillment in life. Because God calls families and not just individuals, households are encouraged to team together in ministry. While much of this ministry may be directed toward our neighborhoods, an important focus remains to also pour blessings into the Christian community.

We believe that God has purposed for Northside Family Worship Center to be a fountain of blessing to the Body of Christ in America. Whether it be something small like a dinner gift certificate or something large like a dream family vacation, it is our expectation that God will use our efforts to bless Christian leaders to in turn bless the body of Christ. We call this the "Ministry of Refreshing." We also believe our church is to be a model of ministry. It is our desire to be a hosting center that will effectively train believers from across the country and around the world to more effectively utilize the ministry gifts that God has given them. It is our vision to build a church that regularly ministers to the needs of our community and actively invests in the body of Christ by hosting special ministry training and provides practical blessings to refresh Godly leaders.

Missions:
The Great Commission is at the heart of our fellowship. Members are encouraged to actively support missions efforts and to personally participate in outreaches to the nations of the world. A big part of our missions program is the ministry of World Outreach, where we support Bible colleges, leadership training seminars, orphanages, T.V. ministry, church planting and mass evangelism efforts. While there is often great need in our own country, we can not ignore the needs and importance of the global Christian community. Attention is frequently given to the persecuted church and the sacrifices and efforts that believers are making to extend God's kingdom. Global missions are supported by our prayers, our involvement, our finances, and our efforts to create a greater missions awareness in the American Christian community. Our vision is to build a church that will be a major missions sending center, providing personnel and resource to reach into nations around the world.
